Continuation of Emergency With Respect to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro), the Bosnian Serbs, and Kosovo
President Clinton continued two existing national emergencies for one year: one declared in 1992 regarding the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro) and expanded in 1994 to cover Bosnian Serbs, and another declared in 1998 regarding Kosovo. The continuations maintain emergency authorities and related sanctions frameworks beyond their original expiration dates of May 30, 2000, and June 9, 2000, respectively.
