Continuation of the National Emergency With Respect to Sudan
President Bush continued for one year the national emergency with respect to Sudan originally declared by Executive Order 13067 on November 3, 1997, citing the ongoing threat to U.S. national security and foreign policy posed by the Government of Sudan's actions and policies.
