Continuation of the National Emergency With Respect to Significant Narcotics Traffickers Centered in Colombia
President George W. Bush continued for one year the national emergency first declared in 1995 regarding significant narcotics traffickers centered in Colombia, maintaining sanctions that block property and prohibit transactions with designated persons involved in Colombian drug trafficking. The continuation extends the emergency authority and associated economic sanctions beyond their October 21, 2006 expiration date.
