Continuation of the National Emergency With Respect to Sudan

This notice continues for one year the national emergency with respect to Sudan originally declared in 1997 under Executive Order 13067, expanded in 2006 by Executive Order 13400 regarding Darfur, and amended by Executive Order 13412. The continuation is required under section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act because Sudan's actions and policies continue to threaten U.S. national security and foreign policy.
