This notice continues for one year the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13894 (October 14, 2019) regarding the situation in Syria, as expanded by Executive Orders 14142 (January 15, 2025) and 14312 (June 30, 2025). The continuation extends sanctions and related authorities beyond their October 14, 2025 expiration date under the National Emergencies Act.
