Determination Pursuant to Section 2(c)(1) of the Migration and Refugee Assistance Act of 1962, as Amended

President Clinton determined that $7 million from the U.S. Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund should be released to address urgent needs of Haitian migrants, authorizing funds for refugee processing, repatriation, resettlement, assistance activities, and related State Department administrative costs. The Secretary of State is directed to notify Congress and publish the determination.
