Provision of Assistance To Support the Reestablishment of Police Forces in Somalia

President Clinton authorized up to $12 million in fiscal year 1994 Peacekeeping Operations funds to support reestablishing police forces in Somalia, waiving statutory restrictions under sections 512, 620(q), and 660 of the Foreign Assistance Act. The determination was directed to the Secretary of State for transmittal to Congress and Federal Register publication.
