Executive Order 13466
Continuing Certain Restrictions With Respect to North Korea and North Korean Nationals
This executive order continues economic sanctions against North Korea that would otherwise be lifted when the U.S. terminates Trading With the Enemy Act authorities. It blocks North Korean property and interests in property that were frozen as of June 16, 2000, and prohibits U.S. persons from registering vessels in North Korea, flying the North Korean flag, or owning, leasing, operating, or insuring North Korean-flagged vessels.
