Tribal Colleges and Universities

This executive order establishes the President's Board of Advisors on Tribal Colleges and Universities and the White House Initiative on Tribal Colleges and Universities (WHITCU) within the Department of Education to strengthen federal support for tribal colleges. It requires federal agencies to develop three-year plans with measurable objectives for assisting tribal colleges, and revokes the previous EO 13021 from 1996.

Actions To Expedite Energy-Related Projects

This executive order directs federal agencies to expedite permit reviews and other actions for energy-related projects while maintaining safety and environmental protections. It establishes a broad interagency task force, chaired by the Council on Environmental Quality chairman and housed at the Department of Energy, to monitor and coordinate these efforts across federal, state, tribal, and local levels.
