Termination of Emergencies With Respect to Yugoslavia and Modification of Executive Order 13219 of June 26, 2001
This executive order terminates national emergencies declared in 1992 and 1998 regarding the former Yugoslavia, citing democratic progress in Serbia and Montenegro, while simultaneously modifying and continuing sanctions under Executive Order 13219 against individuals threatening peace and stability in the Western Balkans region, including war crimes indictees and obstructionists of peace agreements.
